The Elephant in the Living Room is a documentary feature-length film about the raising of exotic pets in homes around the United States, and the controversy surrounding the issue.[1]

General information

The film has won the ACE Grant from the Humane Society of the United States as well as the American Film Institute. The international premier took place in February 2010 at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival followed by Sedona International Film Festival where it won "Best Documentary" then Cleveland International Film Festival, Vail International Film Festival and Beverly Hills.[2]

The film was directed and produced by Michael Webber.

The film was produced in Dayton, Ohio.[3]
